How do I count pills?
Spread the pills on a plain surface, fit them all inside the square, and tap the shutter. The app counts them, marks each pill with a dot, and keeps the photo in History. With Live on, the count changes as you move the camera; tap the shutter when you want a precise count saved.
How do I get the most accurate count?
Use bright, even light and a plain background in a different color from the pills. Spread the pills so they don’t overlap or touch, and hold your phone steady with every pill inside the square. You can also count a photo you already took: tap the album button and crop the photo to the pills.
Can the app tell me what the pills are?
No. AI Pill Counter only counts. It does not identify medications or give medical advice. A count can be wrong, so check it before you rely on it, and ask a pharmacist or doctor about your medication.
What does the free version include?
Every day you get 5 photo counts and 5 minutes of Live. When they run out, you can watch a short ad for 5 more photos and 5 more minutes, or upgrade to Pro. The free allowance is refilled every day.
Why does the Live timer keep going down?
Live time is used while Live is on, whether or not pills are in view. Switch to Photo to stop the timer.
What is Pro?
Pro is an optional monthly or yearly subscription: unlimited photo counts and Live, and no ads. The price is shown in the app before you buy, and Apple or Google handles the payment.
How do I get Pro back on a new phone?
Sign in with the same Apple ID or Google account, open Settings in the app, and tap Restore Purchase.
How do I cancel or change my subscription?
On iPhone, open the Settings app › your name › Subscriptions › AI Pill Counter. On Android, open Google Play › your profile picture › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions. Manage Subscription in the app’s Settings takes you there too. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for.
Where are my counted photos kept?
In History, on your phone only. This app has no server of ours, so nothing is uploaded. Delete a count in History, or delete them all there; deleting the app deletes them too.
Why do I see ads?
The free version is supported by ads from Google AdMob. Where the law asks for consent (for example, in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland), the app shows Google’s consent message first, and you can change your choice later in Settings › Privacy Options. See the Privacy Policy for what Google collects. Pro removes ads.
Does it work without an internet connection?
Yes, counting works offline. Ads, purchases, and restoring Pro need a connection.
How do I see the button guide again?
Open Settings and tap How to Use.
